Peggy L. Lagow

 

PEGGY L. LAGOW, 84, of Iuka, IL died peacefully July 23, 2019 at Centralia Manor.

Born July 3, 1935 in Iuka, she was the daughter of Ora F. and Velma (Fear) Fatheree.

Throughout the years, she had worked as a beautician, a great cook, and as a florist. She was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star, Iuka. Her family fondly remember her enjoying antiquing, collecting Fostoria glassware, and making time for a cold Pepsi.

She married Dale Lagow, February 12, 1955 and he survives in Iuka.

Also surviving are her daughters, Sherry Baker of Kell, IL, Cindy (Martin) Loss of Salem, IL and Janie (Dale) Colclasure of Kinmundy, IL, along with grandchildren Laura (Tyler) Sheathelm of Carlyle, IL, Stephen (Beth) Baker of Carlyle, Nathan (Lindsay) Smith of Clay City, IL, Derek (Erin) Smith of Iuka, and Natasha (Cody) Buchanan of Carlyle. Also, great grandchildren, Cidney and Laney Baker, Camryn Baker and her mother Shala of Edwardsville, IL, Gracie and Nolan Smith, Jamie, Eliza and Bailey Smith, and Matthew, Cadence, Easton and William Buchanan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Joel Baker.

Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday at the Iuka Cemetery, The family invite the public to gather with them at the cemetery prior to the service.

Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Rankin Funeral Home in Salem.

Memorials may be made to the Donor's choice and will be received by the Rankin Funeral Home, entrusted with the family's care.
